	Standing Lenticular Clouds Also known as "wave clouds" or "flying saucer clouds," these unique shapes are formed when high winds prevail in the atmosphere. This image was the Scenic Photo of the Day at Bestfoto on April 23, 2002.
	Through a Natural Arch The Siamese Twins formation at Garden of the Gods forms the perfect frame for Pike's Peak. This photo took the Scenic Photo of the Day at Digitalphotocontest.com for April 9, 2002 as well as 2nd place winner at Digit Photo for January 2002.
	Haliaeetus leucocephalus This beautiful 6-year-old bald eagle lives at the Rocky Mountain Raptor Program facility in Ft. Collins, Colorado. Her portrait was the Photo of the Day in the Animals category at Bestfoto on April 1, 2002.
	Historic Crystal Mill Built in 1893, this mill resides above Marble, Colorado. It is sometimes called the "Dead Horse Mill" but is also known more aesthetically as the "Crystal Mill." I got to meet the nice owners when they let me use their outhouse! It was the Travel/Architecture winner at Digitalphotocontest.com for February 28, 2002.

	Curls Two fine bighorn sheep rams in Clear Creek County. This was the Animals category winner on bestfoto.com on January 13, 2002 as well as on Digital Photo Contest on January 3, 2002 and a finalist at Digit Photo for January, 2002.
	Cascade at Hanging Lake Below Hanging Lake are some wonderful small cascades. Smaller falls are often make dramatic photo subjects. The photo was the best of the week at the Ponteiro Information Guide during January, 2002.
	Boulder Polar Bear Club Ice Plunge We took many more photos at this wacky New Year's Day event, but this one really "jumped out." It was a d-store Week 4 Winter 2002 winner, a bestfoto.com photo of the day in the People category on January 7, 2001, and took Action/Journalism honors at Digital Photo Contest on January 3, 2002.
