Reflections
on Maroon Lake
- At
the peak of fall aspen color, the reflections on a very still
Maroon Lake were exquisite. The photo was the monthly winner
in February 2000 in the Nature category at Wolf Camera.

the giant rocks looked as if they were uplifted to the skies.

for Life
- For
two years in a row, we have observed this nesting pair of
bald eagles in Weld County. The image was the photo of the
day in the Animals category on January 29, 2001 at Digital
Photo Contest.

- A
tall cottonwood provides a perch for a bald eagle in Weld
County. The image won honors in the d-store

Crystals in Abstract
- Sprague
Lake's surface was frozen solid. Atop it, ice crystals
demonstrate the fractal geometry of nature. Taken in Rocky
Mountain National Park, this image was
a week 7 winner in the d-store
Winter Contest.

Jay on High
- These
birds live all over the Rockies. This particular one was at
an altitude of about 10,000 feet in Rocky Mountain National
Park in winter. We were hiking from Bear Lake to Dream Lake
in the snow. It was featured on the d-store
Winter Contest for week 6.
