Bison
Custer State Park in South Dakota is a wildlife wonderland. The
bison babies had just been born and they were soooo cute. This
one became the Animals Photo of the Day at Shutterbugs
on May 24, 2005 and at Photoshowdown
on May 15th. |

There were only two colorful sunrises at Bosque del Apache National
Wildlife Refuge during the week we were there. But, oh, did this
one ever surpass my expectations. This glorious sunrise was the
Scenic winner at Photoshowdown

2005 as well. |

large sow approached within 15 feet of us in Katmai National Park.
We slowly backed off of her beach and gave her the right of way,
with the shutter clicking as we did so. She became the Shutterbugs

One
evening, we drove the road in Denali National Park, in search
of wildlife. Several moose, including this one, were out and about.
